What is this course about?
We know that tackling security and privacy can seem pretty daunting when you’re building, managing and growing every part of a new organization from the ground up. But we also know that, on the entrepreneurial journey, “imperfect and done” is way better than sticking your head in the sand about critical issues. And security and privacy are pretty important from day 1, no matter your organization’s sector, structure or size. So what does “imperfect and done” look like in terms of cyber security and privacy? This course will give you practical know-how and tools to build a strong and adaptable foundation for cyber security and privacy that will set you up for both quick wins and long-term success. We’ll focus on simple but high-impact strategies that will not only improve your organization’s security and privacy posture but, most importantly, empower you to make informed and cost-effective decisions as you grow.

Are there any prerequisites?
This course is ideal for socially-conscious and mission-driven entrepreneurs. No technical background or training is required. You’ll get the most out of this course if you are curious, introspective and have a basic appreciation for the importance of getting the fundamentals right when it comes to building organizations designed to have an enduring positive impact.
How is this course structured?
This course includes three live 60-minute sessions, one 30-minute coaching session and a strategy kit that you will use to build a cyber savvy foundation for your organization by the end of the third session. For now, we’re keeping it virtual. You’ll get a link to connect for each of the live sessions, where you will participate in an interactive classroom setup, and for your coaching session.
And how much is it going to cost me?
- Your Time: You’ll be committing to three live 60-minute sessions, one 30-minute coaching session and roughly 3 hours of independent work, guided by the strategy kit, between sessions. You can always drop us a line if you’re interested in signing up for additional coaching or ongoing support.
- Your Money: 750 CHF
- Other Resources: For the live sessions, you’ll need a good internet connection and headphones.
